Who you’re dealing with

Your files

Only open design files you’re entitled to use. Afterboard never sees your files, so what you open, and what you do with the exports, is your responsibility. Designs, pictures and fonts in them may belong to others.

What the tool does and doesn’t promise

Adobe hasn’t published the XD format. Afterboard reads it from its observed structure and has been tested on many real files, but not on every design ever made. Fonts that aren’t installed are replaced by similar open fonts, and a few effects are drawn approximately; the page says which for each file. If exact appearance matters, such as for print or sign-off, check against XD or the designer’s own export.

The unlock

The unlock is a one-time payment of £9 for exporting all artboards to PDF, ZIP exports of SVG and PNG at 1x, 2x and 3x, embedded images as files, and the handoff sheet. It applies to the browser you use it in; returning to the link from your purchase unlocks another. Your rights under UK consumer law aren’t affected by these terms.

Liability

We don’t exclude liability where the law doesn’t allow it. Otherwise the free tools are provided as they are.
